Travelodge by Wyndham Unadilla, Ga

The property was formerly a sixty room property. In April 2015, the property
caught on fire. After the fire, approximately six rooms were completely damaged.
The rooms were connected via a hallway which included vents. The vents resulted
in smoke passing to more rooms and additionally damaging more rooms. The
damages were extensive and as per government codes, rules, and regulations, the
owner had to shut down the property. In January 2017, official renovation began
with new blueprints and updated building codes. Renovations were finished in the
first week of January 2018. The building inspection took place on the 16th of
January in 2018. After receiving the building permit, it took approximately three
months to install all amenities in each room. In May 2018, the Travelodge by
Wyndham officially opened.
